NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS:
The American Red Cross mission includes the statement “help
people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies”. The Health and
Safety department supports this mission statement through our
preparedness training programs. Health and Safety services offers First
Aid\CPR\AED training, Lifeguard training, HIV\AIDS education, water safety
instruction and advanced first aid courses. We are now accepting
applications for part time on call preparedness instructors.
Position Title: Health and Safety Preparedness Instructor
Description: Part time on call trainer will conduct CPR and First aid courses
on behalf of the American Red Cross. Once selected for this position the
Red Cross will provide the training you will need to become a certified
First Aid\CPR\AED trainer. The position offers the ultimate in flexible
scheduling with some Saturdays.
The successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication
skills as well as willingness to work with people from all walks of life,
and adhere to the American Red Cross guidelines when providing
instruction. You must be at least 18 years old, be a good reader and have
reliable transportation.
Hourly rate is $10.00 an hour.
